Budge co-leads the Gypsy Jazz group "Van Django"  an acoustic string ensemble. They have recorded two live CBC radio shows for "Hot Air" and "Westcoast Performance" as well as 4 CD’s with tours in Canada the US, Europe and China.

Budge Schachte and Karen Graves have been performing together as a duet and in larger group formats for over 25 years. Their music is a joyful, heartfelt and synergistic expression of magic…they play original compositions and arrangements well rooted in the jazz tradition as well as a myriad of influences from folk, pop and world music…not to be missed.

The dynamic duo of violinist Cameron Wilson & guitarist Budge Schachte have been performing together for many years, with Concerts in Canada (including sold out shows for MusicFest Vancouver) as well as the US. They draw their material from a wide ranging eclectic mix including originals and arrangements of; jazz, pop, classical, gypsy, bluegrass, fiddle and more. They are also half of the well known quartet Van Django. The duo has been threatening to record their debut CD and recording is imminent.

“It is always a great pleasure to work with Cam Wilson and Budge Schachte. My choirs and my audience know they are in for a burst of musical energy and top notch playing.
